The Institute for Global Ethics is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to promoting Ethical Fitness™—a process of applied ethical decision making. The Institute divides its efforts into three primary areas of concern: Corporate Services, Education Programs, and Public Policy Programs. It offers training and consulting to foundations and has developed Cornerstones for Ethical Foundations, a CD-ROM–based ethics training program. Based on Rushworth Kidder's book, How Good People Make Tough Choices, it includes real-life ethical dilemmas encountered at charitable foundations.
