The Advocacy Institute is a U.S.-based global organization dedicated to strengthening the capacity of political, social, and economic justice advocates to influence and change public policy. Working with their partners to help make democratic institutions accountable, their work links them with a global community of grassroots activists and nongovernmental organization (NGO) leaders tackling critical human rights issues—such as public health, gender equity, peace, ending poverty, sustainable development, and preserving the environment. The Institute’s work includes advocacy leadership development, movement building, strategy development and analysis, advocacy skills building, facilitating alliance building, strategic counseling, and networking of advocates from all over the world.
