RIBBS addresses postal customers’ mailing questions
and issues in an electronic medium. It is an excellent informational
source that allows postal customers and mailers to access
and download postal information; ask and receive answers to
questions on products and services, postal programs, policies,
or other information from the USPS National Customer Support
Center or other participating postal organizations; access
daily Bulk Mail Centers (BMCs) workload status, emergency
conditions (weather, fire, earthquake, etc.); and receive
enhanced customer support. The system is open to the general
public, with special interest toward the mailing community.
Users can also benefit by reading questions and answers left
by other users and the conference administrators. File areas
are also provided to allow distribution of various utilities
and postal products.
