Since 1981, Mailworks, headquartered in Chicago, has been creating successful marketing and direct-mail strategies for fund raising and membership. Mailworks helps nonprofit organizations with annual budgets of at least $1 million to build a broad-based constituency that will generate significant revenue for their annual operating budget; Acquire and renew members and donors through market research, strategic planning, and implementation of direct marketing and fund raising programs; create a customer service program to improve acquisition and retention and, in turn, provide significant ongoing support for their programs. Clients include a wide variety of nonprofit organizations: Arboreta, Botanic Gardens, Historical Societies, Museums, Performing Arts and Conservation/Wildlife organizations, zoos, as well as local and national healthcare, human welfare, and social service organizations. They are a member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, American Museum Association, Association of Direct Response Fundraising Counsel, Chicago Association of Direct Marketing, Direct Marketing Association and DMA Non-Profit Council, National Society of Fund Raising Executives, and Chicago's Better Business Bureau.
