This Newspaper provides
news and information for the nonprofit world, including coverage
of charitable giving, the latest fund-raising techniques,
foundations, corporate philanthropy, volunteering, nonprofit
management, working with boards, state and federal regulation,
and tax issues. It lists recent foundation and corporate grants,
publications and forthcoming conferences and workshops, deadlines,
and job openings; and summaries of foundation and nonprofit
annual reports. Sections include recent foundation grants,
editorials, books, people, professional opportunities, and
tax watch. A how-they-do-it section features technical assistance
for special projects such as selecting software and doing
annual reports. In print, The Chronicle is published biweekly
except the last two weeks in August and the last two weeks
in December (a total of 24 issues a year). A subscription
includes full access to this Web site and news updates by
e-mail—all at no extra charge.
The Web site offers the complete contents of the new issue,
an archive of articles from the past two years, and more than
four years' worth of grant listings—all fully searchable.
